Ellington Leather Goods began in 1986 while the founder was on a college program overseas. She coveted a handmade leather rucksack that she picked up at an open market. Before returning to the states, she wrote her parents asking to borrow money to have 20 packs made. Her youthful enthusiasm convinced them and she headed home to sell her first product... The Original Rucksack. Ellington Leather has evolved into a small family-owned business. The founder and her husband share the many joys and challenges that it brings. They are passionate about their business and enjoy watching it improve and grow as they learn from their customers, employees, and each other.
